We are expanding our services in Ireland and looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist with a passion for ADHD care and a commitment to delivering patient-centred psychiatric services. This role offers flexibility and the chance to work remotely using cutting-edge digital health technology to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive ADHD Assessments : Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations for adult clients, assessing ADHD and co-occurring conditions using DSM-5 criteria.
  • Medication Management : Prescribe and monitor ADHD medications, adjusting treatment plans based on patient needs and best practices.
  • Treatment Planning : Develop personalised treatment plans incorporating psychotherapy, lifestyle interventions, and follow-up care to optimise patient outcomes.
  • Multidisciplinary Collaboration : Work closely with psychologists, psychotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated, holistic care.
  • Remote Consultations : Utilise digital platforms to deliver psychiatric services remotely, providing ongoing support and follow-up care to patients.
  • Continuous Learning : Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in ADHD treatment and telepsychiatry to ensure high-quality care.

Requirements

  • Registered with the Irish Medical Council as a Specialist in Psychiatry.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience post-specialisation, with a focus on adult ADHD and neurodevelopmental disorders.
  • Experience in telepsychiatry or digital health is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload remotely.
  • Residency within the Republic of Ireland or EU (if working on a self-employed basis).
