Job Description

The Contentious Construction Solicitor will be:

  • Handling construction / property litigation matters, including contract disputes, defects, and adjudications.
  • Advising on contentious matters arising from development projects and supply chain issues.
  • Managing pre-litigation disputes and working on dispute resolution strategies.
  • Engaging with external counsel and stakeholders to mitigate legal risks effectively.
  • Staying updated on construction law developments to support the business proactively.

The Successful Applicant

The Contentious Construction Solicitor should be:

  • A Solicitor with 2-4 years' PQE in construction litigation or property litigation.
  • Experienced in handling construction disputes, adjudications, and contract claims.
  • Skilled in drafting legal documents, settlement agreements, and dispute strategies.
  • Commercially aware with the ability to advise key stakeholders effectively.
  • Confident working autonomously and within a collaborative legal team.
