Contracts Manager

Contracts Manager required County Down for a leading fit out Contractor.

Hays Belfast are recruiting a Contracts Manager on behalf of a leading & expanding specialist joinery and interior fit out contractor based in County Down. Your new role
As Contracts Manager, you will be an important part of the contractual management team with a variety of responsibilities while ensuring the successful delivery of the contract.The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Preparing contract budget

Chairing a weekly project status review meeting

Weekly reporting on project progress

Managing subcontractors

Managing site installations

Managing all aspects of contracts while working alongside the commercial department

Adhering to company KPI targets set

The preparation of the contract budget

Communicating with senior management, project employees and the client

Working on projects in numerous locations throughout the world

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a good understanding and at least 3 years' experience of working within the construction / fit out at a similar level. You will be able to demonstrate the ability of successfully managing the delivery of a project or contract from inception to handover. Being able to work of your own initiative while showcasing your leadership and communication skills to achieve the best results possible. A proficient knowledge and ability to use Microsoft applications, particularly Microsoft Excel is essential.
