Field of activity

The Pension Payment Procedures and Pension Adjustment department is the interface that controls and coordinates the correct, regular payment and adjustment of pensions from a technical and IT perspective. This area also develops and coordinates procedures and projects for exchanges with authorities and courts.

Your tasks
  • Organizing, coordinating and further developing the pension payment process in legal and IT matters (recovery of overpaid cash benefits, mortality data reconciliation and digital document exchange)
  • Participation in the pension adjustment process
  • Responsibility for and further development of quality assurance
  • Representing the division and the DRV Bund in national and international, internal and external working groups and specialist groups
  • Analyzing the consequences of planned and actual legislative or other legal changes
  • Preparing reports, statements and decision papers
  • Participating in workshops, information and training events and giving specialist presentations
Your profile
  • A successfully completed university degree (Bachelor, Diplom FH) in the field of social insurance, public administration or a comparable course of study or an equivalent qualification (e.g. Fachwirt in) or completed vocational training in the administrative or IT field with relevant professional experience in the field of activity
  • Several years of task-relevant professional experience
  • Up-to-date knowledge of social security law and related areas of law
  • Experience in coordinating and controlling work processes is desirable
  • A confident, communicative manner, an independent way of working and a willingness to travel occasionally round off your profile.
