The Opportunity

Opportunity to work on an exciting project with cutting-edge technology, working fully remotely with longevity. Initial 6 month contract with good chance of further extensions.

Experience Required:

1. Cloud Computing Platforms: AWS (Proficiency in services like S3, EC2, Lambda, Redshift, RDS, EMR Cluster and IAM)
2. Programming Languages: PySpark, Python
3. Big Data Processing Frameworks: Spark
4. Data Modelling
5. Database Management: Advanced skill of SQL
6. ETL Process tools: Apache, AWS Glue
7. BIG Data Technologies: Familiar with Hadoop, Spark, Hive, SQS and DTO for processing large datasets
8. Data Pipeline and Workflow Management
9. Knowledge of Data Security: Best practice including encryption, access control
10. Infrastructure as Code: (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
11. DevOps and CI/CD: Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker)
12. Version Control System: Proficiency in using systems like Git
13. Able to work within an agile environment
14. Communication: Able to communicate complex technical processes
15. Monitoring and Logging Tools: Experience with tools like AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana
16. Optimization: Ability to optimize data pipelines and storage solutions for performance and cost efficiency
