Overview

As data analyst, you will help organizations to leverage their data to gain insights, make informed decisions, and drive business growth. This role involves a combination of data analysis, strategic planning, and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Analysis and Interpretation:

• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Use statistical tools and software (e.g., SQL, R, Python, SAS) to perform data analysis.
• Develop and implement data models, algorithms, and predictive models to support business strategies.

2. Data Strategy and Governance:

• Assist in the creation and implementation of data governance policies and procedures.
• Develop data management strategies to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
• Advise on data architecture and infrastructure to support efficient data flow and storage.

3. Consulting and Advisory:

• Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and objectives.
• Provide recommendations based on data analysis to improve business processes, increase efficiency, and drive growth.
• Present findings and insights to stakeholders through reports, presentations, and dashboards.

4. Technical Implementation and Support:

• Assist with the implementation of data analytics tools and platforms.
• Support clients in integrating data solutions into their existing systems.
• Provide training and support to clients on data analytics tools and methodologies.

5. Project Management:

• Lead and manage data-related projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met.
• Monitor project progress and adjust strategies as necessary.

Required qualifications

Technical skills: proficient in extracting, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets using tools like SQL, Python, and R. Experienced in creating compelling visualizations and dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI. Familiar with relational and non-relational databases, including MySQL.

Consulting Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Capable of understanding client requirements, translating business needs into technical solutions, and presenting recommendations to diverse audiences.

Languages skills: fluent in Dutch or French with a very good knowledge of English.

Academic background: Master in Finance / Business Engineer. Certifications in areas such as data visualization, machine learning, and database management is a strong plus.
