Data Platform Engineer - MLOps - London preferred.

A leading UK HeathTech is looking for a highly skilled Data Platform Engineer focusing on MLOps to join our team. You will be responsible for deploying machine learning services, managing large-scale PostgreSQL databases, and leveraging AWS infrastructure. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll ensure seamless integration of ML models into production while optimizing performance, scalability, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and manage scalable AWS systems, including data lakes and PostgreSQL databases.
• Process large datasets using Pandas or Spark.
• Develop FastAPI endpoints for internal tools.
• Improve ML model life cycles and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and cloud security standards.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience with AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, SageMaker) and large databases.
• 5+ years of experience with Python API frameworks (FastAPI, Django, Flask).
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).
• Experience with MLOps tools (MLFlow, TensorBoard) and containerization (Docker).

Requirements:

• Advanced degree (Master's/Ph.D.) in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines (GitLab), and automation tools.
• Proven track record of deploying and managing ML models in production with MLOps tools (MLFlow, TensorBoard, Weights & Biases).
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, data protection, and AWS platforms.
• Proficiency in Python, with experience in PyTorch and scikit-learn (TensorFlow is a plus).
• Leadership experience in delivering projects with a focus on innovation and collaboration.
