Data Scientist/Data Engineer - Databricks/Data Factory/Azure/Python/Analytics - Inside IR35 - London - £700 Per Day DOE

Are you a top-tier Data Scientist with Front Office experience, ready to deliver impactful data solutions in a global investment banking environment? Do you have a proven track record of working with trading desks, particularly within Equities, Fixed Income, or Derivatives, and driving data-driven decision-making? Can you leverage state-of-the-art technologies like Azure Databricks, Spark, and Delta Lake to create scalable, Real Time analytics frameworks for the Front Office? In this role, you will:

• Transform Front Office Data Use: Collaborate directly with traders and quants to integrate and optimise market, trade, and risk data, enabling enhanced decision-making and strategy refinement.
• Build Real Time Analytics Solutions: Design and implement low-latency, high-performance pipelines on Databricks to support trade execution, pricing models, and portfolio analysis.
• Develop and Automate Data Processes: Establish robust data ingestion and transformation workflows tailored to high-volume Front Office datasets, ensuring accuracy, security, and scalability.
• Enhance Trading Insights: Apply machine learning and advanced analytics to Equities and Derivatives data, delivering actionable insights on market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor strategies.

Required Experience:

• Proven experience in Front Office environments, with a strong understanding of trading workflows and asset classes such as Equities, Fixed Income, FX, and Derivatives.
• Expertise in leveraging Databricks for large-scale data processing, integration, and analysis in high-pressure settings.
• Proficiency in Python, Spark, and Delta Lake, alongside cloud technologies like Azure or AWS.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with traders, quants, and senior stakeholders.
