Database Administrator - MySQL/PostgreSQL - 12 months + ext

*Database Administrator - MySQL/PostgreSQL - 12 months + ext. - Hybrid in The Hague.*

On behalf of one of our key partners RED now has a new opportunity for a Database Administrator to work hands-on on complex data models. The initial contract is for 12 months with excellent extension opportunities.

The database administrator is responsible for the quality, timeliness, completeness, and consistency of data within a database. Unlike a data manager, the database administrator holds operational responsibility for the data.

Additionally responsible includes:

• Database backup and recovery
• Security
• Authentication
• Capacity planning
• Data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)
• Performance tuning
• Troubleshooting

As a Database Administrator, you possess the following qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in DBA work
• Knowledge in MySQL and/or PostgreSQL
• Database replication
• Experience working in a Linux environment
• Good communication skills
• Full-time availability (32-40 hours per week)
• Fluent in Dutch

Candidates must be based in the Netherlands and fluent in Dutch to be considered.
