As a Dental Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dental team, and ensuring the smooth operation of the practice.
Responsibilities
Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
Provide chairside support to enhance patient comfort and care during treatments.
Maintain accurate patient records and update information as required.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols.
Communicate effectively with patients, providing them with information about treatments and aftercare.
Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients.
Support the dental team in administrative tasks as needed, utilising IT skills for record management.
Maintain an organised and clean work environment to promote efficiency within the practice.
Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Nurse is preferred but not essential; newly qualified nurses are encouraged to apply.
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English.
A genuine passion for patient care and a commitment to delivering high standards of service.
Familiarity with dental software systems is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided where necessary.
