Responsibilities: As the Interim Deputy Headteacher, you will play a vital role in the leadership and management of our nursery school. Your key responsibilities will include:
  1. Leadership: Assisting the Headteacher in the overall leadership and management of the school.
  2. EYFS Expertise: Leading the development and implementation of a high-quality EYFS curriculum tailored to the needs of children aged 2-4.
  3. Staff Credibility: Drawing on your experience of teaching nursery-aged children to mentor and support staff, ensuring the highest standards of teaching and care.

  5. Quality Assurance: Monitoring and evaluating the quality of teaching and learning, and implementing improvements where necessary.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need:
  1. Qualifications: A relevant degree and a recognised leadership qualification.
  2. Experience: Proven experience in a leadership role within an early year or nursery school setting, specifically with children aged 2-4.
  3. EYFS Knowledge: A thorough understanding of the EYFS framework and current best practices in early childhood education.
