Dermatologist, Consultant

Doctors Direct have an exciting opportunity for a Consultant, to work with us at Altrincham Health and Wellbeing Centre and/or Kingsgate House in Stockport in Dermatology.

Support is needed to cover Dermatology Clinics (new patient, follow up and TWW clinics)

Your key responsibilities will be to:
Provide specialist assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with dermatological conditions, including eczema, psoriasis, skin cancer, acne, dermatitis, infections, and rare skin diseases.
Perform skin surgeries, including excisions, biopsies, cryotherapy, laser treatments, and other dermatological procedures.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, using a combination of medical therapies, surgical interventions, and lifestyle modifications.
Manage complex cases and provide second opinions on challenging diagnoses or treatment plans.
Provide education and support to patients and their families about dermatological conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
Engage in shared decision-making with patients, ensuring they are fully informed about their condition and treatment choices.

Days per week: Monday-Friday 09:00 -17:00 - , No on-call or weekend work required.
Shift pattern: Full time
Hours per week : 40 hours available
Start date : ASAP
Rate of pay: Negotiable

About you:
Valid GMC
Right to work in the UK
Clinical attachment complete - We do not offer placements in the NHS
Minimum of 3-6 months paid experience in the NHS/UK
