Design Technology Technician Job Overview:

• Organise and prepare materials, resources, and equipment to support Design Technology teaching and student learning needs.
• Set up all necessary equipment for teacher demonstrations and student practical work.
• Keep classroom displays updated with students' project work and artefacts.
• Provide technical advice and support to both staff and students during lessons and projects.
• Maintain storage for tools, equipment, and student folders and project work.
• Duplicate and distribute worksheets and resources as needed for lessons.
• Ensure that all safety procedures are being strictly adhered to.

Design Technology Technician Requirements:

• Experience in a similar technician role, preferably within a school or educational environment.
• Strong technical skills in handling and maintaining tools, machinery, and equipment used in Design Technology.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations related to the use of workshop tools and materials.
