Contract Desktop Support Engineer
Location: London (Onsite Role - Various sites across the City of London)
Rate: £140 per day - Inside IR35 Umbrella only
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Global Technology Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Contract Desktop Support Engineer for a leading IT MSP company located in London. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality desktop support to end-users and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems. Your technical expertise and customer service skills will be critical as you troubleshoot issues, provide solutions, and maintain user satisfaction.

• Provide desktop support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues.
• Support operating systems, including Windows and macOS.
• Troubleshoot and maintain Microsoft Office applications and remote desktop tools.
• Collaborate with the IT team to deliver effective solutions.
• Communicate effectively with end-users to ensure satisfaction.

• Proven experience as a Desktop Support Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows and macOS).
• Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Office applications and remote desktop tools.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-oriented approach.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Relevant certifications (eg, CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified) are a plus.
