DevOps Team Lead (Contract)

Rate: £600 - £700 inside IR35

Location: London - Hybrid 2/3 days per week on site

Overview:

Seeking an experienced DevOps Team Lead to design, develop, and deliver secure technical solutions while managing a high-performing team in a secure environment. This is a consulting role for a Government end client so SC Clearance is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Design secure, scalable solutions and oversee implementation.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and support engineers, ensuring productivity and collaboration.
• Kubernetes & Containerization: Manage Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and related technologies.
• Automation & Monitoring: Build CI/CD pipelines, automate workflows, and maintain monitoring dashboards.
• Incident Resolution: Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure solutions align with security policies and facilitate secure integrations.

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and Vault.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver secure, efficient solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
