For our client, a leading multinational technology company that specializes in Internet-related services and products, we are looking for Digitization Operations Manager (m/f/d) in Munich.

As an Operations Management Generalist, you are responsible for driving program outcomes by designing, launching, standardizing, and optimizing operational processes for both vendor and internal teams. Leveraging your expertise in process optimization, you contribute to improving and supporting operations or workstreams to achieve key outcomes, such as process re-engineering, automation, outsourcing solutions, vendor consolidation, and service line optimization. You oversee the tracking and analysis of operational trends, assessing process and workflow performance to identify improvements and implement efficiency measures.
About the role:
Overseeing Daily Operations:
- Work closely with the vendor operations team to ensure digitization targets and schedules are met with optimal quality
- Manage shipment planning, capacity analysis, material handling, preventive maintenance scheduling, inventory oversight, and related documentation
Driving Operational Growth:
- Collaborate with peers and program managers to expand and enhance the program, including customer support, capacity planning, partner onboarding, value stream mapping, process optimization, and addressing operational challenges through problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives
Managing Budget & Purchasing:
- Track and manage program expenses, ensuring spending aligns with the allocated budget
- Monitor and control the financial allocation for both partners and customers to ensure the program remains within budget
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years in operations management, project management, or a similar discipline
Core Skills:
- At least 3 years of experience in problem-solving, scheduling and planning, documentation management, and process improvement
- Strong understanding of operational workflows and improvement strategies
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Google Apps, AODocs, and similar digital tools
- Proficiency in English and German
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with Six Sigma, value stream mapping, and DMAIC methodologies
- Experience with budget planning, purchasing management, or financial oversight
- Background in broadcasting, library sciences, or similar fields
- Skills in conflict resolution, sprint planning, and team coordination
