We are looking for a Director level candidate in Architecture in Glasgow to lead a team of over 20 staff. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading projects, managing client relationships, and driving the growth and success of their business in Scotland. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned architect with strong leadership skills, a passion for design, and who is looking for somewhere they can make a significant impact within the business.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead a team of over 20 staff.
  2. Help with the development of the level of design output from the business.
  3. Assist with the development of the brand, in helping them secure future work.
  4. Lead and manage architectural projects from concept through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  5. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact and ensuring client satisfaction.
  6. Provide strategic direction and contribute to the development and implementation of the practice's business plan.
  7. Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive working environment.
  8. Collaborate with other directors and senior management to drive business development and secure new project opportunities.
  9. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and codes of practice.
  10. Represent the business at industry events and conferences, enhancing the firm's profile and reputation.
Experience Required
  1. We are looking for an individual with a proven track record in a leadership role.
  2. You must have a passion for design and a desire to improve design quality.
  3. A proven track record of winning work is essential.
  4. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects across various sectors.
  5. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  6. Experience in client management.
  7. Ability to lead, inspire, and motivate a diverse team.
