Director of Machine Learning, Dataset Engineering

Experience Requirements:

1. 8+ years of experience in machine learning and dataset engineering, focusing on large-scale, multimodal datasets
2. Experience leading data strategies and partnerships at a senior level
3. Expertise in data analysis, with practical experience in examining complex datasets
4. Knowledge of data cost management and optimization techniques
5. Understanding of current developments in dataset engineering and machine learning

Responsibilities:

1. Establish and oversee data partnerships to obtain high-quality datasets for our AI models
2. Develop data strategies that support Runway's product and research objectives
3. Analyze our data ecosystem to find gaps and areas for improvement
4. Work with external partners on new data projects
5. Keep up with advances in dataset engineering and machine learning, applying new methods to our work
