Director Product Management (m/f/d)

Our ambition to grow further drives us to seek a dynamic Director Product Management to join our team at our Headquarter in Lienz (Osttirol) in Austria, supporting our commitment to setting new standards in the agricultural irrigation sector. With our Headquarters in Austria, we have a strong base in Europe. With own subsidiaries in Brazil and the United States, we are very close to our customers in South and North America. Dedicated Technical Sales Managers in Africa, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, ensure that we support our partners and clients worldwide.

As the Director Product Management, you will be responsible for the development and continuous optimization of our genuinely designed product portfolio to save water and energy of agricultural irrigation systems. Reporting to our CEO, you will work closely with our customers and users worldwide, especially growers, OEMs and dealers.

• Management and coordination of projects from the product idea to market launch
• Close cooperation with our customers and internal stakeholders (Research & Development, Sales, Marketing, Production and Quality)
• Conducting market and competitive analyses to identify trends and new business opportunities
• Managing the entire product life cycle including pricing, launch activities, product adaptions and portfolio adjustments
• Establish standards and procedures to ensure effective and efficient product development
• International travel to support projects on site and to support sales activities
• Providing technical advice and training to customers and internal teams
• Preparation and implementation of product presentations at international trade fairs and at customer sites in close cooperation with the Marketing and Sales Team

• Completed relevant degree in Industrial Engineering, Agricultural Economics or a Natural Science in combination with a solid business understanding or Business Administration in combination with a strong technical understanding.
• Experience in product management, ideally in the agricultural or another technical sector
• Sound knowledge of project management
• International experience and intercultural competence
• Hands-on mentality, strong problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel and flexibility to manage projects worldwide
• Business fluent in English and knowledge of other European languages, especially German
• Strong communication skills and a structured way of working
• Passion to work with people in a team and an ability to work on own initiative
