Responsibilities:
  • You will manage Group Treasury with 8 employees in the areas of Corporate Finance, Cash Management and Risk Management & Compliance.
  • You support the continuous development of the banking and financing strategy and its implementation with the help of various financing instruments (some with ESG link) with a current credit line of around EUR 1.7 billion.
  • You will help to ensure smooth international payment transactions with an annual transaction volume of around EUR 19 billion.
  • You work on the implementation of international M&A transactions and their post-merger integration and are responsible for working capital management.
  • You are responsible for the continuous improvement of liquidity planning and control within the Group based on machine learning.
  • The creation of an in-house bank to ensure the financing of the Group and its subsidiaries in accordance with internal and external requirements is also one of your tasks.
  • You will lead the implementation of a global cash pool to centralize liquidity.
  • You will be responsible for the ongoing digitalization of the treasury, e.g. by implementing a treasury management system for the Group and rolling it out to relevant international subsidiaries.
  • Ensuring capital market readiness by setting up a compliance & risk management framework (e.g. further development of the hedging strategy and treasury guidelines) is also part of your team.
  • Treasury reporting and IFRS conversion as well as cash flow development and analysis round off your area of responsibility.
Qualifications:
  • You have a degree in business administration, finance or a related field (or a comparable qualification).
  • You have already gained several years of professional experience in a treasury management position.
  • You have sound knowledge of corporate finance, cash management, risk management and compliance.
  • You have strong skills in liquidity planning and management, ideally with experience in machine learning.
  • You have experience in the negotiation and implementation of financing instruments, preferably with ESG-Link as well as in the implementation and use of treasury management systems.
  • You have strong leadership and communication skills and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken German and English complete your profile.
