Job Description

We're looking for anElectrical ProjectEngineer to join our Natural Resources team, on ourSevern Trent water framework working from site at Wanlip,Leicestershire.

Contract:Permanent, Full Time - flexible and part time hours may beavailable if desired, just let us know

Responsibilities

We're looking for an ElectricalProject Engineer tojoin our NRNN business unit. The successful candidate will work ona project to undertake an upgrade and enhancement of the existingwastewater treatment facility. Reporting to the Project Manager,you will work alongside the project delivery team to ensure thedesign, procurement, financial control, and site activities areachieved. Your day today will include:

  • Authorising technical scopes of works, undertaking gapanalysis on mechanical tender submissions and compiling mechanicaldesign RFIs.
  • Identifying and rectifyinginterface issues within the mechanical D&B packages
  • Creation of digital quality records as well as managementof supply chain programmes
  • Oversee projectsfrom inception to completion using supply chain resources andconstruction personnel.
  • Early siteinvestigation works in coordination with the client, design, andproject team, as well as the production and review of health andsafety documentation, including risk assessments, methodstatements, and project management plans.
  • Responsible for overseeing the procurement of the correctmaterials, attending site and works testing, commissioning, andclient training.


Whatare we looking for?

ThisElectrical ProjectEngineer is great foryou if you have:

  • A minimum HND qualified in electrical engineering withexperience in electrical engineering design on capitalprojects.
  • A good knowledge of motor controlcentres including variable speed 690V and 420V
  • An understanding of switchgear design includingdiscrimination calculations and protection devices.
  • A good knowledge of electrical design in ATEX hazardousareas.
