Main responsibilities of this position:
- assisting and collaborating with our Bulgarian and international employment team in all relevant employment law matters;
- reviewing and analysing employment-related documents and management agreements, existing Bulgarian and EU legislation and case law as part of drafting DDRs, transaction documentation, etc.;
- drafting employment and management agreements as well as employment-related documents such as agreements, policies, orders, notifications, etc.;
- providing day-to-day consultations to clients, including in emergency situations;
- working on employment litigation;
- assistance to expats;
- whistleblowing advice;
- other ad-hoc tasks.
Who we are looking for and expect:
- master's degree in law (Bulgaria);
- having pursued studies abroad and/or holding an international LL.M. is an advantage;
- at least 2-3 years of legal experience in employment law; longer practice and practice in a law firm are advantages;
- proficiency in English (fluent written and spoken professional use);
- strong passion for employment law and matters related to human resources;
- ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and to make sound judgements;
- excellent analytical and logical thinking skills, communication and writing abilities, and a problem-solving attitude;
- efficient work style with the ability to meet tight deadlines;
- teamwork skills and a "can do" attitude.
