Main responsibilities of this position:

• assisting and collaborating with our Bulgarian and international employment team in all relevant employment law matters;
• reviewing and analysing employment-related documents and management agreements, existing Bulgarian and EU legislation and case law as part of drafting DDRs, transaction documentation, etc.;
• drafting employment and management agreements as well as employment-related documents such as agreements, policies, orders, notifications, etc.;
• providing day-to-day consultations to clients, including in emergency situations;
• working on employment litigation;
• assistance to expats;
• whistleblowing advice;
• other ad-hoc tasks.

Who we are looking for and expect:

• master's degree in law (Bulgaria);
• having pursued studies abroad and/or holding an international LL.M. is an advantage;
• at least 2-3 years of legal experience in employment law; longer practice and practice in a law firm are advantages;
• proficiency in English (fluent written and spoken professional use);
• strong passion for employment law and matters related to human resources;
• ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and to make sound judgements;
• excellent analytical and logical thinking skills, communication and writing abilities, and a problem-solving attitude;
• efficient work style with the ability to meet tight deadlines;
• teamwork skills and a "can do" attitude.
