Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Engineering Director Power Electronics (m/f/d), located in Stuttgart, Germany.
Reporting to the VP Power Electronics, the Engineering Director Power Electronics will be responsible for the development and launch of customized products to support Flex's xEV power electronics business.
What a typical day looks like:
- Implement strategies to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce
- Establish product development process according to ASPICE
- Prepare roadmap, market research, and customer information
- Engage customers as a technical expert at Flex
- Creation of the customer presentation and documentation
- Meet regularly with engineering peers at Flex's customers
- Work with cross-functional technical teams
- Collect market trends for vehicle electrification systems
- Participate as speaker or visitor in electromobility trade fairs, congresses, exhibitions, and other events about e-mobility
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years in a similar position
- Knowledge of simulation tools software such as Matlab, Simulink and LTspice
- ISO26262
- Fluent English knowledge both in written and spoken form
- Ability to travel is required
