We are looking for an Enterprise Architect - Finance Domain (m/f/d), based in Munich or London.

Your Team

You will be part of a global team which is owning a variety of different roles and responsibilities in the area of IT, starting from Enterprise Architecture, Productivity & Steering and Agile Transformation & Change Management over to Governance, Risk & Compliance, IAM Governance and Workplace.

The Impact You Will Have

Reporting to the Technical Director Enterprise Architecture, you will be responsible for driving a cohesive IT Enterprise Architecture. This is accomplished by translating business strategy and objectives into functional, conceptual and high level technical architectures.

Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

1. Collaborate with business units and stakeholders to evaluate requirements and understand the target architecture of the Finance Domain.
2. Conduct design reviews, analyze the system landscape, and assess feasibility considering budgetary and technological constraints.
3. Create conceptual and technical designs based on requirements and Finance domain specialization; provide advisory support to IT projects as needed.
4. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for architectural deliverables, ensuring quality, completeness, and alignment with financial regulations.
5. Investigate IT procedures, standards, and guidelines; conduct regular analysis on financial systems, processes, and documentation to ensure compliance and efficiency.
6. Support stakeholders in building a holistic view of IT assets, assess projects, and present architectural recommendations that align with strategies.
7. Assist the Head of Enterprise Architecture in developing concepts and governance frameworks; participate in governance boards to ensure alignment with objectives.

What You'll Bring to the Role

1. Expertise in interpreting business and technical architectures, with a focus on infrastructure, including BI, analytics, DWH, databases, platforms, and application development related to the Finance domain.
2. Proficient in process workflow and documentation, particularly within financial contexts.
3. Strong project management skills with a track record of managing financial IT projects.
4. Knowledgeable about existing technical solutions and industry best practices, especially those relevant to financial services.
5. Extensive IT professional experience, ideally within the financial services sector.
6. Experienced in managing projects and tasks in a global, international, and remote environment, with a focus on financial systems.
7. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to tailor messages to various audiences and strong analytical skills.
