What you will do
  • Architecture Development: Design and implement a highly scalable and highly available platform architecture using cutting-edge technologies.
  • Technology Leadership: Evaluate and integrate the latest technology stacks into our platform, especially in the areas of Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and related technologies.
  • Scalability and Availability: Ensure the platform's scalability and high availability to meet the demands of the payment industry.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a technology roadmap aligned with the company's business goals and growth objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers and technology board members to ensure best practices and technical excellence.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with other departments and stakeholders to align technical requirements with business goals.
  • Problem Solving: Analyze and solve complex technical issues to ensure the smooth operation of the platform.
Your profile
  • Education: A degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Several years of experience as an Enterprise Architect, preferably in the payment industry or a scale-up company.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of Java and microservice architecture, familiarity with the latest technology stacks and trends in software development, and experience with highly scalable and highly available systems.
  • Passion for Technology: You enjoy engaging with emerging trends and disruptions in software development and making them a reality.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Leadership Skills: Experience in leading and mentoring development teams.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in German and good English skills.

Legally, we must disclose the gross annual salary which is approximately € 60.000, - (for a full-time position of 38,5 hours per week). We are open to offering more than the starting salary based on your expertise and skills.
