Job Description

  • Oversee European operations from their London office, ensuring business objectives align with the global luxury brand strategy
  • Develop and implement market strategies to enhance brand presence, growth, and profitability across multiple regions
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including high-profile clients and partners
  • Conduct market analysis and identify new opportunities for expansion within Europe and beyond
  • Lead, inspire, and develop cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation
  • Manage budgets, P&L responsibilities, and financial performance, ensuring revenue targets are achieved
  • Represent the brand at industry events, fostering a luxury image consistent with the company's values
  • The European General Manager will be required to travel to various sites across Europe regularly

The Successful Applicant

European General Manager

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the luxury goods or premium consumer goods industry, specifically within food or drink/FMCG
  • Fluency in French and English; additional European languages are an asset
  • Strong understanding of European markets, consumer behaviour, and trends in luxury goods
  • Willingness to travel frequently across Europe
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical mindset with financial acumen to drive profitability and manage P&L
  • Be based in London when not travelling across Europe
