Job Description

Our client is a major global law firm with an established and longstanding reputation in the UK, where they are headquartered.

Their London-based team advises on a wide variety of domestic and international disputes across TMT, financial services, energy, life sciences, and real estate. The work is often high profile and at the cutting edge of dispute resolution.

The team is growing, and they're now looking for an experienced Professional Support Lawyer.

In this role, you will expect to get involved in a variety of work including:

  1. Providing technical legal support for fee-earners.
  2. Civil Procedure Rules guidance.
  3. Know-how content generation (and oversight of plan for others to deliver that content).
  4. Internal team training on technical matters/legal developments.
  5. Pro-active evolution of the role & support the well-being of the team.

In order to be considered for this role, you will have:

  1. A strong academic background.
  2. Training and probably at least 10 years' PQE as either a fee-earner or a PSL gained from another City or international firm with a reputation for handling high-quality dispute resolution work.
  3. A background in regularly writing articles for publication internally and/or externally.
  4. Arbitration experience (as fee earner or PSL).
  5. Excellent communication skills, a collegiate and collaborative approach, supporting the development of the practice and also the team's culture and values.

Some advocacy experience would be beneficial to add perspective. This role could be full-time or part-time (4 days a week) and is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven PSL to progress their career within a highly supportive environment.
