Job Title: Facilities Manager

Location: Yiewsley Grange, West Drayton

Salary: Up to £47,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Hours: 38.5 hours per week

Contract: Permanent, 52 Weeks

As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a Facilities Assistant to join our close-knit team at Yiewsley Grange School, part of Options Autism.

If you are looking to join a dedicated team in a school that will welcome your ideas and re-engage our young people, we would like to hear from you. The successful candidate will support the Facilities Manager in the maintenance and health and safety across our site.

Who are we looking for?

The role of the Facilities Manager has been adapted to meet the demand following continued growth in our services, which now stands at four sites across four locations. Our schools are located in Hillingdon, Yiewsley, Slough and Hounslow.

The Facilities Manager will report to the senior leadership team and will contribute to the growth and development of the service. Accountable for the delivery of quality, efficient, collaborative support services to the Education team. This role will be responsible for the management of all of our sites and hold direct line management responsibility of all facilities staff members across the sites.

As you will be working across our sites, a Full UK Driving Licence is essential.

We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with sound knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation, and with experience of working within Ofsted regulations however, neither of these are essential. IOSH experience would be a great advantage, but not essential. If you do not already hold IOSH experience, we can train you to become an expert in this area.

This will be a hands on, practical role and we really need somebody to be flexible, dynamic and able to get stuck in when needed!

Essential:

  • Full UK driver's licence
  • Previous Maintenance experience
  • Good Numeracy and Literacy skills

At Yiewsley Grange, we provide specialist education for 185 pupils, aged between 3.5 to 19 years. Within Yiewsley Grange we deploy a wide range of teaching strategies to engage and develop the progress of learners, who present with a range of learning difficulties and styles. Our pupils are taught in smaller class sizes and all students work towards an Equals Semi-Formal Curriculum and equivalent qualifications in functional skills.
