Field Services Engineer

Our client, a global organisation, urgently require an experienced Field Services Engineer to undertake a permanent opportunity.

In order to be successful, you will have the following experience:

• CCNA, CompTIA N+ or equivalent knowledge
• Experience with vCentre & vSphere
• Experience using Windows Server 2019/2022 and experience with Linux
• Knowledge of Firewalls, Cross Domain Solutions, SQL Administration and Agile working would be advantageous
• Able to obtain SC Clearance (candidates with an active SC will be prioritised)

Within this role, you will be responsible for:

• Identifying, Configuring and Supporting Network equipment
• Virtualisation using VMWare ESXI or similar
• Configuration and maintenance of Windows Servers (AD, DNS, DHCP, Mail, CA etc)
• Configuration and maintenance of Software applications
• Use and integration of Radio Systems and Digital Data Links
• Support deployed personnel, at reach or in person, with technical advice
• Support SNC capability development activity by keeping abreast of modern technology and understanding where it can fit in to projects and programs
• Support meetings and exercises with technical advice and guidance
• Conduct training activities in support of projects and wider employee development
• Conduct routine administration activity to support the tasks above
