Are you a detail-oriented Finance Analyst looking to contribute to a high-profile business planning team? This 6-month contract offers the opportunity to work on strategic financial modelling and planning within a leading organisation.
Location: London
Contract: 6 months (initial)
Rate: £300-£450 per day (Inside IR35, via umbrella)
Working Model: Hybrid
About the Role:
As a Finance Analyst, you will support the development and project management of Heathrow's Business Plan, collaborating closely with Finance Managers to provide key financial insights. This role will involve working across multiple areas, including annual budget cycles, people modelling, and long-term forecasting.
You will be responsible for operating and maintaining financial models, running scenario analyses, and delivering insights that support strategic business decisions. Working with stakeholders across Heathrow, you will help drive transparency, governance, and financial accuracy in planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain financial models to support business planning
- Conduct scenario analysis and provide actionable insights for decision-making
- Support annual budgeting and long-term planning processes
- Collaborate with Finance Business Partners and teams across Heathrow to source and validate financial data
- Ensure governance and compliance in financial reporting and modelling
- Produce high-quality reports and presentations for senior stakeholders and external audiences
What We're Looking For:
Essential:
- Strong financial modelling skills, with experience in Excel-based models
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities
- Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving
- Experience in project management and delivering against deadlines
- Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights
Desirable:
- Knowledge of financial model design and development
- Part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or actively working towards qualification
