Halliday Marx have partnered with a fast-growing recruitment consultancy for an exciting finance manager role. This role is a permanent role and applicants must have prior recruitment consultancy industry experience.

Responsibilities:

• Management of finance staff including accountants
• Quarterly board packs and monthly mangement accounts
• Payroll including commisson and bonus calculations across three regions (multicurrency)
• Transactional processes
• Ownership of day-to-day Group Treasury requirements
• Ownership of cost base, ensuring all spend is appropriate
• Liaising with external accountants and being the contact for external auditors
• Prepare VAT & other tax submissions

Requirements

• 1-2 years experience in a similar role
• Experience of managing a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, being confident to liaise with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Friendly, positive and good sense of humour
• A team player
• Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines within a fast-paced finance department
• Excellent all-round IT and Microsoft packages knowledge.
