Hays Accountancy and Finance are proud to be working with a great co-educational school in South Leicestershire who are seeking a motivated and experienced Finance Officer to join their expanding finance team.
Your new role
As a Finance Officer, you will:
- Work effectively alongside the School Business Manager and Finance Director
- Work confidentially and sensitively
- Maintain Payroll for staff
- Uphold school policy and procedures
- Have the ability to prioritise your own workload and school demands
- Maintain efficient record keeping and systems
What you'll need to succeed
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience of working in an office or a school
- Experience of use of Word, Excel, Outlook and SIMS
- Financial administration experience
- Be adept at problem-solving and multitasking with excellent attention to detail.
