Strategy and Operations - FinTech Strategy Consultant

This is a *Amsterdam* based role with an excellent immediate start within a Global Technology Client that is working on *conducting detailed analyses, and delivering actionable recommendations that drive impactful business outcomes*.
About the Role
Our client, a leader in the FinTech space, is seeking a FinTech Strategy Consultant to join their dynamic Strategy Team. The team supports the leadership by tackling key strategic questions, conducting detailed analyses, and delivering actionable recommendations that drive impactful business outcomes.
This role offers an opportunity to work on high-impact, cross-functional projects with direct exposure to senior leadership. You will collaborate with diverse teams across the organization to develop and implement strategies that address the client's evolving needs in the FinTech domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product, technology, and corporate support teams to develop enterprise strategies and execute segment or functional strategy projects.
- Evaluate current business operations and recommend strategies to achieve organizational goals.
- Support the annual strategic planning process, linking it to the long-range planning and budgeting processes.
- Prepare clear, concise presentations for senior management.
- Conduct various analyses, including competitive market research, financial and operational performance reviews, and qualitative research through interviews and desk studies.
- Partner with data science and research teams to synthesize findings and identify actionable trends.
- Apply structured problem-solving frameworks to address complex business issues and provide clear recommendations.
- Communicate compelling recommendations to stakeholders, fostering consensus and influencing senior-level decision-making.
Knowledge and Skills

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree.

Experience:
- 1-5 years of relevant experience, ideally including a year in a top-tier management consulting firm or corporate strategy/development role.
- Proven experience in strategy development, including project scoping, hypothesis generation, financial and business modelling, and implementation.
- Experience in technology sectors such as travel, E-commerce, retail, payments, or consumer-facing products is highly desirable.
