Tasks

What You'll Do:

• Financial Strategy & Planning: Lead Dunia's financial roadmap to ensure every dollar supports climate innovation, from R&D breakthroughs to scalable growth.
• Financial Operations: Design lean, automated accounting, budgeting and reporting processes that adapt as we grow, supporting fast, efficient decision-making.
• Diversifying Capital Stack: Bring your knowledge of renewable project finance, structured capital, and other unique funding sources to sustain and accelerate Dunia's mission.
• Mentorship & Culture Building: Foster financial acumen across teams, helping Dunia's leaders make financially sound decisions that align with our growth and environmental impact.

Requirements

Your Background:

• Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance leader, ideally in clean-tech, renewables, or impact-driven sectors.
• Knowledge of capital diversification, with experience in project finance, impact investing, or renewable energy funding mechanisms.
• Skilled in financial analysis, forecasting, and scalable budget management.
• Strong communicator able to convey complex financial information with clarity and purpose, inspiring internal teams and investors alike.
• A strategic, mission-aligned leader who sees the big picture but isn't afraid to dive into the details to support Dunia's growth and environmental goals.

Nice to Have:

• Background in renewable energy, materials science, or R&D-intensive sectors.
• Track record of working with high-growth companies, setting up financial operations for rapid scaling.
• Passion for sustainable finance and knowledge of funding mechanisms aligned with climate impact.
