Freight Sales Executive

Freight Sales Executive - South Central (Remote) - Up to £40,000

Our client, an international freight forwarder, is looking for a Freight Sales Executive to join their team to cover Oxford, Reading, Guildford, South West Essex, Kent, and the Greater London region, selling all modes of freight.

Package

• Basic salary up to £40,000
• 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays (Increases up to 5 days maximum)

Day-to-day Responsibilities

• Focus and drive to achieve targets
• Identify sales opportunities while profiling new businesses to understand how we can support with freight/customs
• Represent the company positively with internal and external stakeholders
• Proactively scope new business opportunities
• Track and manage the CRM system, ensuring ongoing liaison with existing clients and follow-up of prospective customers
• Demonstrate a track record of developing and enhancing current client portfolios
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and overseas agents
• Demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge
• Display excellent communication skills, including the ability to influence and negotiate

Skills, Experience, and Competencies

• At least 2 years of working experience in sales within the freight industry
• Knowledge and experience of Import/Export multi-modal business
• High-quality communication and presentation skills
• Proficient with Microsoft packages, especially Excel, and general PC knowledge
• Good understanding of logistics processes and procedures
• Able to prioritize and organize workload with attention to detail
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible with working hours and able to work from home
• Must have the Right to Work in the UK (No Sponsorship on offer)
• Driver's License
• Access to a vehicle
