This role is offered on a hybrid contract giving you the opportunity to also work from home 1 day a week.
PURPOSE OF JOB:
The Fundraising & PR team Associate will be responsible for providing administrative and project support across the Fundraising & PR Team to support the delivery of the Fundraising & PR team strategy and associated plans. The role will directly support annual and ongoing planning, monitoring, and evaluation of performance, team development, and internal communications initiatives, as well as supporting across organizational campaigns, including Red Nose Day, Sport Relief, and other year-round activities, including delivering bespoke projects and liaising directly with supporters in support of their fundraising ambitions.
Responsibilities:- Work in support of the Director of Fundraising and FR&PR leadership team on diary management and delivery of administrative tasks.
- Lead the onboarding and offboarding process across the FR&PR team.
- Lead on agreed internal communication projects across the team.
- Plan and deliver team events and activities.
- Support planning, monitoring, and evaluation processes across the team.
- Liaise with and provide support on enquiries and complaints.
- Actively steward cohorts of donors/partners as briefed by 'Home Team' colleagues.
- Take on bespoke fundraising and/or PR projects as part of campaigns.
- Participate in initiatives designed to raise awareness and funds in support of Comic Relief's work.
- Experience of coordinating multiple projects, with proven administration, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience of delivering excellent fundraiser (or customer) support.
- Ability to work autonomously to meet deadlines.
- A positive, proactive, and solution-oriented approach.
- Able to demonstrate willingness to learn and develop in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
- Experience of supporting the delivery of fundraising activities and campaigns.
- Experience of online/social media community management.
- Experience of working on PR or media-focused initiatives.
