The Role

As a Funds Associate, you will play a key role in providing expert legal advice to leading European alternative investment fund managers and their onshore counsel. You will focus on the formation, ongoing legal and regulatory compliance, restructuring, and termination of various domestic and offshore investment vehicles, including hedge funds, hybrid funds, and private equity funds.

1. Advise clients on legal matters related to domestic and offshore investment vehicles
2. Assist in the formation, restructuring, and termination of funds
3. Ensure ongoing legal and regulatory compliance for clients' funds
4. Engage in business development and firm promotion activities
5. Contribute to the team's knowledge sharing and expertise development
6. Supervise and mentor junior lawyers within the team

Requirements

1. Minimum 5 years' PQE as an investment funds, regulatory, or corporate lawyer
2. Strong academic background and excellent drafting skills
3. Experience working in a top-tier law firm is highly advantageous
