Asset Safety Officer (Gas & Elec) required to support leading housing association in Selkirk 2-4 Months

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a H&S/ Asset Safety Officer to join a leading housing association based in Selkirk. This is a 2-4 Month opportunity that has potential to be extended.
This role will see you support the regions tenants by conducting Electrical and Gas safety inspections within the home. You will support an existing team of compliance and H&S staff offering guidance and support on key issues brought to light by the management team.

To be successful in this role, a knowledge of gas and safety regulations is essential with experience working within social housing preferred. An awareness of legislation relative to Asbestos, Water safety, Electrical and Gas is essential alongside a minimum SVQ in Gas safety. Due to the nature of this role, a professional and patient demeanour is required.
