Job Title: Domestic Gas Engineer
Location: Mobile - North Yorkshire
Salary: £41,000 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent

We are seeking a Domestic Gas Engineer to join a reputable and growing housing trust in North Yorkshire. This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary of £41,000 per year, along with a company van and a fuel card for commuting to and from work. As a Domestic Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality gas installation, servicing, and maintenance within residential properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing gas installations, servicing, and maintenance work in residential properties.
- Conduct gas safety inspections and issue homeowner gas safety certificates.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on heating systems, appliances, and gas boilers.
- Ensure all work is carried out to the highest safety and compliance standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all works carried out and ensure paperwork is completed as required.
- Provide excellent customer service, explaining technical issues in a clear and concise manner.
- Respond to emergency repair requests when necessary.
- Gas Safe Registration (essential).
- Previous experience working as a domestic gas engineer, ideally within a social housing environment.
- Valid domestic gas qualifications (e.g., ACS, CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, etc.).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of gas-related issues.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
