General Manager - Cocktail Bar

We are reaching out to you today as we are actively seeking a talented and passionate Bar General Manager to join the team at Bar Lina Soho - a hidden gem - tucked away in the heart of Soho, London.

Ranked on the Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2024, we are London's most iconic Italian delicatessen and restaurant located across London. First opened in 1944, Lina Stores is known for its fresh, handmade pasta, meats, cheeses, antipasti and many more products - all imported from Italy! Guests can enjoy our Italian dishes in our restaurant and take away the ingredients from our deli to recreate their Italian feast at home. We also have an online shop which allows customers to order online quickly and easily with seamless deliveries straight to their front door. All of this of course requires preparation, which is all done in our very own Lina Cucina in Peckham, where we develop our high-quality Italian recipes.

At Bar Lina, we offer a unique and intimate speakeasy experience, specializing in meticulously crafted cocktails that celebrate the art of mixology. We are searching for an exceptional Bar Manager who shares our dedication to exceptional service, innovative drink creation, and a love for all things Italian aperitivi and digestivi.

About the Role:

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for:

• Leading and motivating a talented team of bartenders, ensuring they deliver exceptional service that reflects our brand identity.
• Overseeing all aspects of the bar operation, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
• Curating and developing a unique and ever-evolving cocktail menu that showcases your creativity and knowledge of Italian spirits.
• Maintaining a strong understanding of current cocktail trends and techniques.
• Contributing to the overall guest experience by providing knowledgeable and friendly service.

The Ideal Candidate:

• A highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Bar Manager in a high-volume cocktail bar environment preferable on cocktail mixologist bar.
• A deep understanding of cocktail-making techniques, with a particular focus on Italian spirits like Digestivi, Vermouth, and Grappa.
• Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, train, and mentor a team.
• Impeccable attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional guest service.
• A passion for the hospitality industry and a genuine enthusiasm for creating memorable experiences.
