Elior at AFC Wimbledon are looking for a General Manager to oversee all the catering services!

We are looking for someone who is fully accountable for a great food and beverage operation, to match the venues ambition and standards.

This role sits within our Stadia division, catering for fans and visitors at prestigious stadiums across the UK. With matchdays, concerts, conferences, and banquets to be catered for, our specialist teams are experts in adapting to our client's needs with locally sourced seasonal menus.

What you'll be doing

As a General Manager, this is an opportunity for an inspirational hospitality professional, experienced in food and beverage delivery. We seek a real 'people person' with rounded leadership skills and a focus on delivering consistency of quality and innovation to keep evolving the offering. Responsible for developing and delivering an exceptional food and guest experience.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be fully commercially accountable to deliver accurate and timely forecasts and budgets.
  • Taking control of all operating costs, and continually analysing key performance data to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Working with support teams within the wider Elior family, you will focus on continuous development and improvement, enhancing the guest experience, and increasing the commercial benefit to all partners.
  • Motivating and managing a team.
  • Accountable for ensuring ongoing team communications, including building internal and external relationships, management reporting and client liaison to enable operational excellence and innovative menu planning.
  • Accountable for COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal regulations, environmental policies and duty of care to customers and colleagues.
  • Ownership of the day-to-day delivery of consistent and exceptional product quality and service standards to achieve and ideally exceed department targets.
