General Manager

Mayday.ai is a centralized, AI-driven platform offering real-time disaster and risk intelligence services. Our mission is to save lives, reduce costs, and make critical disaster information accessible precisely when it's needed most.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans for expanding Mayday.ai's footprint in Germany.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and alignment with company standards.
• Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, first responders, and industry partners.
• Drive revenue growth through identifying and pursuing business development opportunities.
• Collaborate with the executive team to align German operations with overall company strategy.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team to achieve organizational goals.
• Monitor and manage the financial performance of German operations, optimizing for profitability and sustainability.
• Represent Mayday.ai in public forums, conferences, and industry events to strengthen our presence in the German market.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in a leadership role, with a strong preference for experience in disaster management, emergency response, technology, or a related field.
• Proven track record of successfully managing operations and driving growth in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of the German market and familiarity with regulatory frameworks related to disaster management and emergency response.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to foster strong relationships with government agencies, partners, and clients.
• Proficiency in German and English is required.
