General Manager

We are excited to be recruiting for a General Manager based at Chelsea Physic Garden.

Location: SW3 4HS
Salary: £45,000 per annum
Shift pattern: 40 hours per week, 5 over 6 days (Sunday-Friday) predominantly 9:00-17:00

Key responsibilities

• Ensure daily operations run smoothly for both the coffee shop and the summer terrace restaurant. Coordinate staff schedules, monitor stock levels, and oversee supply chain logistics.
• Provide an excellent customer-focused environment, ensuring high service quality and prompt issue resolution.
• Hire, train, and manage employees, including baristas, kitchen staff, and servers.
• Motivate and lead the team to meet performance and service standards.
• Conduct regular team meetings to align staff with operational goals and address concerns.
• Monitor revenue, control expenses, and achieve financial targets.
• Manage 2 Chefs, an assistant manager, and any additional casual staff.
