Job Description
What are we looking for

The Cosentino Center General Manager is responsible for managing all sales/profitability of several distribution centers, coordinating and monitoring the activities of the sales team, carrying out corporate initiatives and goals, protecting the integrity of the level of service customers receive, and tracking projects in their area in order to achieve the commercial development.

What you will do

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication skills, a wide knowledge of business functions, financial and budgeting skills, and be a strong leader.

As a General Manager, your tasks will include:

  1. Supporting staff development.
  2. Driving sales and improving revenue.
  3. Maintaining a great relationship with clients and enhancing the company's image.
Sales
  1. Grow sales and distribution of all the centers' affiliated company's product lines in the area.
  2. Focus promotional efforts on point of purchase displays (vignettes and samples).
  3. Track competitor activity.
  4. Manage key customers and local distributors in the area: planning, visits, relationship development.
  5. Coordinate with the corporate office to market and co-advertise the brand throughout the region.
Account Management
  1. Create and adhere to yearly budget as it relates to expenses and revenue.
  2. Manage, monitor, and evaluate the results of the center: degree of achievement of the planned goals (billing, overall efficiency, profitability by product, contained commercial segment, exposure outlets, etc.).
Management and Leadership
  1. Manage the sales teams of the locations assigned to this position.
  2. Manage the relationship with regional fabricators and provide customer support.
  3. Manage National Account relationships and compliance.
  4. Lead by example to grow talent within the staff.
  5. Ensure Health and Safety procedures and safeguards are enforced among the sales team.
  6. Maintain constant communication with the Regional Director to support business.
  7. Other duties as assigned.
What you need to succeed Professional Experience

Required:

  1. 5+ years of sales experience.
  2. 2+ years or more in the stone industry.
  3. 2+ years of experience in managing staff.
Knowledge

Required:

  1. CRM System.

Desired:

  1. Salesforce experience.
  2. SAP or other Order Management programs.
Academic Background

Required:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.

Desired:

  1. Master's degree.
