Job Description

Generative AI Product Lead (Engagement)

Salary: £42,000 - £61,600

Location: Cambridge, with hybrid working arrangement

Contract: 12 months Fixed Term, Full time 35 hours per week

This pivotal position within International Education, reporting to the Head of Data, Analytics, and AI, serves as the key interface between the Generative AI (GenAI) technical Centre of Excellence (CofE) / Hub and International teams, ensuring that the needs of all stakeholders are clearly understood, and ideas captured and prioritised.

About you

You will demonstrate a strong ability to manage stakeholders effectively, working closely to understand business priorities and areas of exploration within GenAI. You will ensure that the organisation's AI initiatives are aligned with its strategic goals.

Advanced communication skills are key to the success of this role. You will support and contribute to communications on GenAI topics, ensuring stakeholders are informed and engaged.

You will also:

  • Serve as a trusted source of information and advice on GenAI within the relevant business unit, acting as an ambassador for the value this technology can add and to the business
  • Be a subject matter expert on GenAI to contribute to requirements and provide feedback on tools and deliverables
  • Play a key role in scoping projects, business case creation, piloting, and trailing initiatives in collaboration with the GenAI CofE
  • Contribute to understanding and considering the people and change impacts when productionizing GenAI capabilities

You will naturally collaborate with teams across the business unit and other GenAI Product Leads to share learnings and minimize duplication of effort. Supporting the initiation of scaling projects and continue to play a stakeholder role throughout the lifecycle.
