Graduate Finance Assistant

Graduate Finance Assistant£28,000 - £30,000 City of LondonMy client, a global financial services company, are looking for a Graduate Finance Assistant.You must be a Accounting or Finance graduate with experience of reading balance sheets and other financial information, and advanced Excel skills. You MUST have some experience within the Finance sector. The Role

• Data input and analysis of insurance companies' financial accounts
• Assist in the production of data for use in Special Reports under the support of senior analysts
• Undertake research in regions and countries to identify new market participants with a view to increasing the company's coverage within data products

Experience/Skills

• Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
• Experience within a Finance/Accounts role
• Ability to understand and navigate financial information, particularly insurance companies' reports and accounts
• Understanding of insurance or financial services market would be useful
• Good IT skills, especially Excel
• Good prioritisation and multi-tasking skills
• Good level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
