Job Description

Job Title: Group Systems Administrator
Location: UK (Remote with some travel to UK sites)
Salary: Up to £60,000 + package

You'll work across multiple subsidiaries, driving IT infrastructure optimisation and contributing to critical projects while enhancing your skill set in a dynamic and stable environment.

Group Systems Administrator Responsibilities

You will play a key role in managing and optimising the IT infrastructure across multiple subsidiaries. This includes:

  • Administering and maintaining Servers, Firewalls, and networking platforms.
  • Ensuring network security, including IPS/IDS protocols and endpoint protection.
  • Supporting vulnerability management, patch updates, and Cyber Essentials accreditation.
  • Overseeing 365/Azure administration, Intune/Autopilot delivery, and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
  • Implementing security alert logging and monitoring through SIEM systems.
  • Troubleshooting IT issues across diverse platforms and environments.
  • Automating repetitive tasks using scripts (eg PowerShell).

Group Systems Administrator Requirements

  • Proven experience in Systems or Network Administration.
  • Strong knowledge of server operating systems, network infrastructure, and connectivity solutions.
  • Proficiency in security protocols and data recovery processes.
  • Experience with endpoint security (Web Filtering/AV/MDM).
  • Understanding of Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work resourcefully under pressure.
  • Effective communication skills and a proactive approach to learning.
