Job Title: Guest Services Receptionist
Job location: Guernsey

Role Responsibilities and Training Requirements:

Warmly greet all guests/visitors with a smile, following agreed standards. Escort guests to required
destination (if required), ensuring smooth transitions between team members at each stage of their journey. Welcome and escort guests to meeting rooms, taking coats and luggage as required. Set-up meeting rooms to the required standard (including the set-up of food and beverages where
applicable) and ensure that they are checked prior to any meeting taking place. Carry out cleaning duties to
ensure all areas of the office, both client and internal spaces are up to the expected standard.Continually
develop client knowledge, with the aim of surprising and delighting at every opportunity.Helping to deliver catering services and
maximising sales opportunities through selling techniques. To
actively gain client feedback in all areas of the business and in turn share this with your line manager.Support the Facilities team as required in all aspects of their role, such as scanning, archiving, desk counts, managing contractors etc.
Team Work and Communication ; Communicate effectively with peers and the management team, displaying accuracy and attention to detail both in verbal and written communication. Maintain a strong awareness of business activity and communicate all updates with your team members. Build
relationships with the EA community and the business to ensure the smooth running of the office operation and to have a full understanding of all necessary client information. Communicate to your Regional Manager about any new / ongoing / potential issues and complaints so that they are addressed accordingly. Follow this up promptly with a detailed email.Communicate effectively with the relevant areas in the business on new bookings, changes to existing bookings and on any cancellations.Provide assistance according to business needs e.g. lunch cover, annual leave cover etc.Support the training of new team members.Working Environment and Responsibilities
Maintain a clear, presentable working area at all times and report all maintenance faults/hazards and cleaning requests to the Regional Manager.
Monitor progress to ensure issues are promptly rectified and escalate to your Coordinator/Manager as necessary.
Check rooms are set up correctly according to the booking requirements. Monitor cleanliness and that all requirements for food and beverage, audio visual etc. are ready and available at the requested time.Ensure kitchens and coffee machines are fully stocked, clean and in working order.Oversee stock control for consumables (catering stock) and ensure everything is in order and in stock at all times.
