Basic Salary £65,000-£70,000 dependant on experience plus excellent benefits:

Our client, a well-recognised professional membership body with over 40,000 students and members worldwide, is currently seeking to appoint a Head of Content.

The Role

The Head of Content is responsible for setting the content marketing plan, ensuring this is successfully executed, continues to showcase the Institute's expertise, and promotes the organisation's commercial and revenue-generating activity.

The postholder works with colleagues across all teams, thinking strategically and creatively about what digital content is published on which channels to maximise the impact of our busy programme of qualifications and training, events, and technical resources.

The successful candidate may come from a background in policy, communications, marketing, or business publishing. They will need to be confident with managing the potential of AI and its contribution to content creation.

Person Specification

  1. A growth mindset and the desire to execute at pace.
  2. Proven experience of building a content strategy that impacts business results.
  3. Excellent organisational, planning, prioritisation, and time management skills.
  4. Excellent written, research, and editing skills.
  5. Experience of working in partnership with a variety of stakeholders.
  6. Ability to analyse data and produce regular reports for wider dissemination.
  7. Strategic planning and budget management skills.
  8. Experience of procuring and managing third-party contracts.
  9. Ability to problem solve and innovate.
  10. Appreciation of the particular structure and challenges of working in a membership organisation.
  11. Project management skills.
