Flexibility: Hybrid working with flexible hours

Location: WFH/The Office based in Brixton, London (Union Street, London from August 2024)

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Head of Customer Marketing to lead a new function within our marketing team, overseeing digital marketing, social media, and D2C e-commerce.

In this role you'll get to:

  • Establish a commercial attribution model that enables the business to make strategic decisions regarding marketing investment based on data, insight, and analysis.
  • Lead our global paid media strategy (focused on key markets UK & US) identifying strategic effectiveness and cost efficiencies.
  • Collect and analyse first-party customer data to inform loyalty, retention, and conversion on our direct-to-consumer retail platforms (social and e-commerce).
  • Develop and implement a channel marketing strategy, identifying key channels by market audience segment and message, setting KPIs, and reporting to the CMO monthly.
  • Own our CRM strategy & oversee email marketing.
  • Determine our D2C e-commerce and social commerce strategy including Customer Care provision.

  • Lead brand tracking study - optimise the study to meet the strategic needs of the business and work with stakeholders to deploy actionable insight.
  • Evolve and develop the use of consumer insight to inform and drive marketing strategy.
  • Lead a team of five with three direct reports: Senior Digital Marketing Manager, Consumer Insights Manager, and Senior Social Media Manager - Lead, motivate, appraise, and develop team members.
  • Own overall Customer Marketing budget setting and monitoring spend by each of your direct reports.
  • Play an important part of our extended leadership team, collaborating with peers to achieve overall company goals.

What we are looking for in you:

  • Experience managing consumer data with an analytical focus.
  • Experience managing paid media strategies for UK & US markets.
  • Experience managing brand tracking (ideal but not essential as long as you can demonstrate strong analytical capabilities).
  • Proven experience using Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM) to inform marketing budget allocation.
  • Experience managing qualitative and quantitative consumer research.
  • Retail experience (ideally FMCG but not essential).
  • Exceptional people management skills and a desire to create a collaborative working environment.
  • The confidence to push back on tight deadlines and negotiate timelines when necessary.
  • Proven ability and experience in influencing and managing senior stakeholders at the Executive level.
  • Resilience to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple ongoing projects.
  • A can-do attitude and an all-round positive team player.
